Aria Khanpour

Hi! I'm Aria. I'm into cars, math, and learning new things (usually by going way too deep on them). I also swam all throughout high school (still do) and love getting in the water when I get a chance. Also love random board games.

When I'm not coding, I'm usually hanging out with friends, biking around, or just doing random stuff to have fun. I still go down rabbit holes sometimes — watching car builds, learning about engines, or trying to understand some random math concept that popped into my head. Cars were probably the first thing that got me interested in how stuff works, from the mechanics to the design, and that curiosity eventually turned into building things with code like I do now. My cousin Farhad was also a big inspiration along the way.

Math is another big interest of mine because it feels like solving puzzles all the time. A lot of that problem-solving mindset carries over into programming, which is why I enjoy building software so much. I'm always experimenting with new tools, frameworks, and ideas just to see what I can create and how I can improve — always.

Swimming has always been a big part of my life. I swam for my high school team, and it taught me discipline, focus, and how to push myself. It's still my go-to way to clear my head and reset after a long day of working on projects, studying, or coming from school.

I also really enjoy helping people, whether that's explaining something, building something useful, or just being there when someone needs a hand. A lot of the projects I work on are about making things simpler or more accessible for others. Always trying to help others help.

Outside of school and work, I spend a lot of time building personal projects, learning new tech, and improving my skills. I've worked on different apps, websites, and tools just for fun and experience, and right now I'm focused on growing as a developer and creating things I'm proud of.

In the past, I've built everything from small websites to full-stack apps, learning how frontend and backend systems work together. Right now, I'm just continuing to build, learn, and get better every day — and I'm excited for what's coming this year.
